Metal Sculpture

This project involved learning about the properties of metal and how the casting process works. A few smaller sculptures were made but the one I focused on was a 12”x12” sculpture. The process entailed creating the sculpture out of plaster, then pressing the plaster sculpture into sand within a wood box, then removing the plaster sculpture and pouring the metal into the sand.
